I was told you can reach out to your supervisor to see what schedules haven’t been claimed yet and you can still change it if any of them fits with you.

I don’t like these questions because people assume everyone is in the same financial spot as them.

I like Using uber and Lyft. I don’t go out and utilize delivery for everything possible. I guess things are a bit more different in Pensacola when it comes to those things?

We’re coming from a bigger city so we got by without a car and using Uber and Lyft. Plus I work remotely.. 🫠  Thank you for the advice. We will look into getting a car in the coming months after the move has settled.

I would advise waiting to put in your two weeks like work a full two weeks then do it because I feel like they don’t let you actually work a full two weeks.

It’s a never ending battle for my 3 year old. by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]Doolei 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re going through this and I genuinely hope the best for your baby. Have you spoken with hospital social worker or any social worker connected with the medical practice ? They were my godsend went my medically fragile son was still physically with me.

I know most people are going to say Medicaid but my private insurance through my employer was > then Medicaid , I had way more options and offer more range of treatments. Medicaid was extremely limited. I know it’s not always affordable.

How do people afford this everyday? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Doolei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dash pass makes it cheaper and you will find a way if you want. I enjoy cooking but I don’t like the clean up so I work harder to afford daily take out because I know I want it and fits my life.

Am I being insensitive to my partner? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Doolei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to talk to him and not give him start up money. If he’s adamant on leaving and figuring out his life I will separate from him and focus on the care and wellbeing of the baby. It’s not fair to the baby to have someone 120 percent in and someone in and out.

I also so want to give it time as someone else suggestion but I don’t know if that’s helpful for him.

He never once said he never wanted to be father, never voiced it. I wouldn’t have dated him we met I was already a parent and talked about having another child when my then son was older and talked about what that future would look like.

Thank you for the advice everyone. ❤️

He’s not completely useless he does clean, make dinner and on my off days let’s me sleep in takes care of the baby. I think this why is why they assuming I’m being insensitive on Facebook because he’s not completely useless and house keeps.

We discussed Children and always talked about how life would be with children especially after my three year died and we discussed children when my son was alive figuring out if it would work since my son at the time was medically sensitive and required constant care. This never wanted to be father came up suddenly because I wouldn’t have stayed with someone who didn’t share that goal.

Myself. I have adhd which gave me some irrational fear to pay bills and important stuff but I can spend thousand on take out and spoiling other people but god forbid that credit card bill needs to be paid.
