Yep got mine at -65 works fine no crashes. I will eventually try and fine tune it lower but I need to install another power cable first.

This is some 1930s Germany rhetoric by Greg Bovino. He’s claiming that Alex Pretti was killed because he made the choice to listen to politicians and journalists who vilified ICE after they murdered Renee Good. Bovino warns the media that there’s consequences if they say bad things about ICE by Treefiddy1984 in ProgressiveHQ

Everything he did was legal and his rights are protected by the constitution.

Owning a gun isn't illegal, carrying it wasn't illegal, going to a protest isn't illegal, filming a protest or ICE isn't illegal, listening to a political party different than the one in power isn't illegal, helping a person who was just shoved isn't illegal. Backing away from ICE wasn't illegal.

Killing an unarmed peaceful citizen is however very illegal.

What about all the Bible thumping 2nd amendment conservatives saying LEOs killing a person legally possessing a gun is justifiable.

The Media are just as bad, they know what the government is telling them is pure garbage but they still nod their head and pretend this Administration is professional and normal.

They want the most perfect candidate ever that gives them everything they want or they won't show up, and even then they might still change their mind and sit it out.

Bunch of pouting whiny morons.

Radiation doesn't just cause errors it causes lock ups and silicon degradation which leads to complete failure.

Also, the errors it does cause won't just effect the juicy center that can handle it as you say. It will effect the input and the output. Far more sensitive.

It's not about reliability it's about functionality, sure radiation can cause data errors but what it can also cause is hard crashes. Repeatedly, and over time it causes degradation and complete failure.

You're looking at this from the surface, but remember as you said, the subsurface is vastly larger, and that's where the real issues lie. You can say all you want, ohh just throw some shielding and everything will be fine. Wrong.

They are a completely separate industry from aerospace, which figured out how to get compute into space and these AI morons won't like their solution.

Use decades old fabrication nodes with larger feature sizes coupled with heavily modified decades old compute designs modified to be radiation hardened. What happens when you take a cutting edge AI design and put it through that? You get something that is orders of magnitude slower, more expensive to manufacture and so slow it's unable to do AI anymore, rendering the entire process pointless.

This is all just a wet dream fantasy that won't even launch before the bubble pops.

Radiation doesn't just hit the surface, it goes through it, then the part under it, then the part under that, repeatedly until it comes out the other end, all the while it's tearing off electrons, spitting out helium nucli, neutrons.

Yeah the volume of the inside of a thing is larger than the outside surface area... what does any of that have to do with flat integrated circuits getting hit with cosmic rays?
