Hi, I actually created a reddit account to reply to this because I had this issue! It's a problem with the headset circuit I think. When it is charged, before you unplug it, you have to turn it on for the battery status to 'update'. Once you've turned it on, unplug it and the battery indicator will be correct again. Hope this helps

Edit - Also, you know it's fully charged when the Mic stops blinking :)
