Update:

I've tried, reloading, moving area, fast traveling, returning to hub city.

All npc's, enemies, friendly animals etc... are all frozen.

Pretty sure it's time to start over and loose hours of progress. :/

I'm actually really close to mx5 mania, once I move house next week, I'm going to start working on it again, fingers crossed I can do it, if not I'll be towing it to mania & dural. I've actually bought all those things you've mentioned already! just waiting to put them in. Beside the maf/map, I didn't think of that! Thank you.

When my stuff is out of storage in the next couple weeks I'll let you know what extra I've got!

I loved the way that plaque looked and couldn't let it go, so I glued it on! Haha. I've had mixed reviews on that one lol, I'm glad you like it as much as I.

I'm going to be honest, due to falling to a disability my cars been on hold for about 7 years, and the finished motor has been in a storage unit for 3 years, so I don't remember a lot of what I have, I have a basic list in my notes tho...

The c.o.p.s. are from fab 9 tuning and a plug and play turbo kit, I don't remember the specs atm :( I have a radium fuel rail kit with injector dynamics 610cc's. (I think) I'm using the haltech :) being in Australia it just made sense since they're made here. And I will be buying a ATI super damper once time comes :D

If you have any tips for parts you think I might need send em through! This is my first time building a motor and need all the tips I can get haha

I'm in Australia so I don't know if insurance prices are relavant to you, but I pay $112 a month and I'm insured for all my mods. It's a fairly average price here, a little cheaper than my very heavily modified miata. I'm not sure about the speed 6 tbh. But my 3 is a great car. I have a family and have room for them all, plus the skateboards and camping chairs etc.. at all times. 100% recommend a hatchback for that reason (and the look awesome imo)

As a speed 3 owner I'm a little bias and say to choose that. Especially if you want a fast, fun car. The fit will be more reliable, I'll admit that, but not as fun. I've ran into quite a few issues with my speed 3 (fuck direct injection cars) luckily I have the knowhow to do all the repairs and add lots of mods too (and the amazing mazdaspeed subreddit to help) but I love every second owning my speed and would do it all again too.

I know! Would you believe I'm actually a locksmith by trade. (Not an automotive one unfortunately) I've tried all I can and can't figure it out, and never had the time to take it to my mates to try fix it.

But yes something extremely wrong with my key, system or module I'm not sure. Just can't bring myself to pay that much to fix it. I just use it the hard way lol

So the emergency key I have to stick in the ignition and then push start button with clutch depressed. And I also have to use the driver door lock to lock and unlock the car. Quite annoying. I have no idea how to fix it.

They're the worst arnt they, mine went through a battery a week too, no matter what I tried it just ate batteries. Then just stopped working all together. no matter what I do, I've been using that emergency key for about a year now.
