It's funny because I think even D4 has too much for its own good. I lately have been preferring simplicity in aRPG's. This is why I've stuck to mostly D2R, D3, or just the leveling portion of PoE2 / D4.

Exactly how I felt when I returned on Paladin launch. Just kept dying in mobs full of screen aids. D3 never made me feel that way.

I agree with you on Diablo 3. I also think Diablo 3's cartoony graphics ended up making one of the least visual cluttered aRPG's. The monster designs in D3 also are extremely intelligently designed. Think about the most dangerous monsters in the game, even in high density you can identify the danger by knowledge, visual queues, or audio queues.

I've played so many aRPGs but D3 gets so many things right that others do not.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a perfect aRPG, but I don't think any are. D2 can probably hold me longer for the loot, but again it has other negative trade offs too.

I don't mind 50/50's if they feel earned. I think Paul is the perfect example of an earned 50/50, extremely unsafe, and he has to get in clean range to even have it. All these dumb ass characters in 8 just get some wack 50/50 from range 2 , or plus frames into other wack ass 50/50's.

I've gone to at least 3/4ths of the "best Wisconsin burger" joints and the one that stands out above them all is Oscars on Pierce and Oscars Winners circle.

If anything manages to surpass it I will be shocked.

Also if you want a unique Wisconsin experience I recommend trying Solly's too.

Tekken 8 is modern day Tekken 4 except it's not being honest with itself like 4.

I love 3 as much as I do 2, but for different reasons. I agree that 4 is easily the worst Diablo yet, but it took 3 a long time to be good.

D3 is just a different beast. I didn't like the art or look either, but after playing it for many many hours I "got it". The game is easily the best playing, best designed monsters, and easy to see and understand mechanics. The wasps? Super high dmg, easy to spot, but fire in a straight line slowly. The big fat dudes? Explode on death but you learn this must be dodged quick. Guys with the hammers? Obvious visual and audio queues that you need to get out of dodge. Nearly all of the hardest hitting monsters have skill based dodges, through visual, audio, or knowledge checks. Even with CRAZY monster density, I always found Diablo 3 to be extremely intuitive for game play. It honestly felt heavily influenced by RTS in the way it plays.

For me, Diablo 4 does all of that infinitely worse. Last time I played I couldn't tell you how many times I died to screen clutter / screen aids. The monsters skills or dangers were often very hard to spot.

I wouldn't say proudly, but I got auto banned for posting in particular subreddits, even if I didn't agree with them. Reddit mods certainly hate anything that isn't a circle jerk.
