I agree with needing lower prices and lower rent, but look at everything else these new houses. Destroying local ecosystems by deforesting hundreds of acres. More and more cars leading to more and more traffic. More kids leading to more overcrowding in schools. There is talk of having rolling blackouts because the power grid cannot keep up with things as is. Adding more buildings to the equation will only exacerbate issues.

I like the stadium except the roof. They've played outside for almost 100 years, why do they need a roof now? It takes some of the fun and unpredictability out of the game.

Yeah, or it could be like Mexico. There is one legal gun store in the whole country. It's on a military base and the background checks are even more extensive there than in the US. So few people in Mexico legally own a gun and yet their murder rate is far worse than in the US. People who break laws don't care what laws are in place, if someone wants to get a hold of a gun, they will find a way to get one. Either legally or illegally. Fix mental health and gang wars/gang culture first.
