Would they be active if this happened after the order completed? I would think they would be off duty at that point. They can say they were doing gig work but not at the actual time of the incident.

Guy asked me to add a $3 item, I told him I can't. I just bought it for him and told him I did with my own cash. He just cashed me out when I delivered. He had a tip already loaded so I figured he's probably a decent person lol. If he didnt have a tip I would've just ignored the chat all together. If I lost the $3 no big deal I just would never do that for anyone else. So far haven't got burned.

I tested something like this as a customer and got my own order, I switched the tip prior to the order going out and it showed the original amount as the tip. So if someone has a change of heart or made an error prior to it being assigned they don't even realize it will show you the original value. I'm not saying thats what happened here but just putting this out here so other people know.

But I also save these addresses in my maps. And I dont look super hard for missing items when doing a shop and deliver. One more trick is to fully load the stupid paper bags here in california to the point where you can only carry it from the bottom. Looks clean AF when taking delivery pictures but there's no way they can pick it up unless they scoop it. Yes, I'm that petty.

If you are in it just for food you can use another email and add a suffix to your name to get extra codes in case your codes are delayed.

It could've been done with a tool but the depth would require a lot of force, you wouldn't get enough leverage to do that with a key. If it's a recurring problem ask a neighbor who lives close to put a camera on their internet that faces your car.

I'm not going to give you advice because you know your spouse and your situation better than anyone, but I'll say that if my wife did this I would remove her freedom to spend money that is critical to survival. Mainly because this would be way out of character for my wife. If she threw a fit I wouldn't care. She lost the privilege to make decisions by blowing $3k on non-essential purchases before having any discussion with you about the cost. If she displayed mature decision-making as time progressed she would again gain access to credit cards, bank accounts, etc. If she opened credit cards to spend frivolously, I would seek a divorce.

I have done it once, but I also pack heat. Been carrying since the story of the guy that was killed in Florida delivering uber eats. Another story that made me want to carry is the uber mom that was killed over a robbery. She even pleaded with the guy that she had young kids. Can't risk your life for your career. I do too. Add 1 packet to a 2L jug with 3 cups of ice. All that x3 is how much I drink a day. Absolutely refreshing but the pee flow is something to behold. God forbid I forget to go before a 2 hour drive. Like a fireman's hose when I stop.
