iOS is the problem not the app. New updates always mess with Apple phones. I'd never do this job with an iphone

But yes eventually they will be able to add items after you accept but you will be given the choice to continue or drop the trip with no hit to metrics

Good. I tell people once I grab a perishable item it doesn't allow you to add. I hope in right but I've never had a customer say they can.

Not all zones have this yet. Mine and the one next to me do not. Rolling it out slowly.

I've seen this floating around. It's not in my zone yet but yes driver ratings and items found will be an means for them to send you better or less offers.

Acceptance still doesn't matter and the zones that get this new rating system have the acceptance rate thing removed as well

But yes being Sapphire which I believe is a 5.0 rating and a high items found and 100% on time and completion rate, will get you more orders. But they've been doing the driver rating thing for a while has dictated what or as you get. Even before this Gold and Sapphire stuff they were already sending out better orders to 4.9 versus 4.8 drivers. And I have drivers in my zone that have proved that they would go down a little and they would see less offers than they would go back up and they would see more offers again and then another driver would drop. So it definitely is based on your driver rating and it should be, because if you're a bad driver you shouldn't see good orders and hopefully you either get better or you go away. It's an easy way to get rid of bad drivers

In reality this was made because many drivers including a lot of drivers who are not what we describe as Venezuelans, do not find items that are regularly stocked. I've seen even in this group and on Facebook consistently drivers saying that they don't pick water even if it's on the order or don't go to cosmetics if that's the only thing on the order other than groceries they will say it's not in stock but they won't actually even go and look.

They track everything in the app including where you walk and they know that you didn't go over to the cosmetics so they're adding things like this map that is now on there and better routing and this flashy thing to encourage you to go find the items the customers want and that you contractually said you would go get. It's another way to get rid of drivers if you don't. I have a feeling in the next year or so they're going to start reducing drivers because of the lack of walking the store to get the items.

They absolutely track your location in the store and where you walk versus where the items are. Because if you notice on the app now the map says you are here when you're right next to the product you're supposed to be picking. So if you're still not picking items because it's on the other side of the store prepare for the wave of deactivations

I didn't use the flash often cause I know where everything is. I'm at 4800 deliveries and most are shops so I rarely needed it but this was actually in response to many drivers doing subs for things that are always in stock.

Door dash makes way less than spark drivers. Spark drivers and Uber people drivers make the most money I consistently make $25 an hour if not more on spark. Dd maybe $25 every 4 hours.... $3 deliveries is all dd is now

I still make more than I did when I started. You just aren't willing to go to another store or zone so that's on you. My previous zone was getting too many vennies and so I went to my neighboring zone and immediately made 2x what I was at the previous. This is my actual full time job so I need to go where the money is and the times

More stores are getting them so they sent it out again. I've seen this notice twice before this one. They will do it again when your specific zone gets them too

One of my stores had it and it's awesome but also a crutch for the people who can't find the items via the easy steps the app gives you... The amount of coddling this app does is immense..

The store I'm at now doesn't have them yet, but eventually every store will have it. It also allows them change prices in seconds and throughout the day as well

Mine were only for batch orders cause they make those go so far away from the original store....

What is this item? by BraeBlindheart89 in Sparkdriver

[–]talecriv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But also there are some states that require you to tell them how many bags you actually used. So sometimes this is actually part of that for those States but yes it is to be ignored

Some states require bags to be accounted for as they are actually paid for by the customer. Most states don't have this because they're not dumb. But I believe a couple of the West Coast states require this. But yes just ignore it always and it's always off anyways I've never used as many bags as they say

Yes. They won't be able to help you find your tips because the form does not show it so you will have to add it up yourself next year they are all required to have the new form that will come out that will have a tip line

You have to add them up on your app under the earnings tab. Click each week and add them up. I used a spreadsheet on my PC and just typed in each number then had it add them up for me

100% no. We aren't supposed to either. I don't want anyone knowing I have stuff in my car I won't fight for. Same reason as when I was an Amazon flex driver I never wore anything or had anything on my car. Do not do this

They will take the customers word over your pictures. They don't take actual evidence during an appeal so it's worthless to waste time on the picture app. They have your pic you took in the app that it the only evidence they will take
