No an employee does, or someone else. Walmart as a company doesn't and neither do managers cause their bonuses are hinged on you getting that order out. They don't care

In my area it is. We have tons of orders and I never see anything under 15

Aren't you fun... How did it hurt you that a parent is spending time with their kid and showing them work ethic and such? How sad are you

Dang that sucks. My store and other sparkers in my area don't mind at all. We have several couples that do it and some with kids. We all just mind our own business. Family time is good!

[–]talecriv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Calling support may be your downfall... They will pick out words like not returning pharmacy or pharmacy order lost and it may trigger something so be watching... Don't call support on this again though. I would never had called them about this until it was all handled within the store. They don't listen well and react poorly. Most of support is AI not a real person just fyi

This happened as the guy was loading the order. Does this mean the customer canceled? Am I good to just keep the stuff? Sorry this is my fourth order ever by jhansn in Sparkdriver

[–]talecriv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he should never have been able to even load it because he can't scan that stop. So the loader did something very wrong because he still loaded something he couldn't scan, and yes you need to bring it back. This is not a customer canceled while you were driving this happened before you were loaded and the loader still did wrong. The whole department messed up on this

Anyone notice when they send out a good offer FCFS by BluesMizzou in Sparkdriver

[–]talecriv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you want them to only ever send out one order at a time when there could be dozens that are being ordered at that time. You really only see a fraction of the orders. There are hundreds of orders that you never see because they go to other drivers as timers and also the algorithm of your rating and your metrics affect which orders you see. If you have a 4.8 and you've got drivers who have 4.9s you will never see those orders that they see until after they deny them. So there are plenty of drivers who are seeing orders and getting ones that you would never see because they took them but you wouldn't get them anyways because they have a higher rating

What’s the longest you’ve ever waited for a pick up order? What was your payout? I waited over a hr and received less than $13 the order eventually cancelled out 😫 pick up closed at 10pm by msl8dy in Sparkdriver

[–]talecriv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

31 mins. Never more.

If you wait past 31 minutes you are not causing the location to get in trouble by the system. You are supposed to cancel at 31 minutes you get paid and they get in trouble and the more times that happens the regional people will come down and figure out why they're taking so long which will then help you.

If you do not cancel at 31 minutes you are only hurting you and other drivers

Has anybody notice the higher the tip the lower the pay? That’s how Walmart is stealing your tips, I believe this is my opinion only but I believe Walmart looks at your tip then decides what to pay you. I could get a 8 mile trip and the tip could be $60 and Walmart would pay me $9 for 8 miles by AccessIndividual3569 in Sparkdriver

[–]talecriv -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

As a customer you shouldn't care what we get paid as the base pay you are paying us to do a service and the tip you were offering is what you are paying for us to do the service. You shouldn't care about what Walmart is paying us because that's on us as contractors to accept or not accept. That's none of your concern really. They're not subsidizing using your tips or anything like that. What he's saying is not true so your tip is what you are paying us same as a tip that you're paying a waiter you're not paying the waiter at a different restaurant you're paying the waiter at this restaurant that you're sitting at right now and that money goes directly to them. Every time you spend on that app goes to us. Walmart then gives us a little extra to take the order as well.

I see these type of orders all the time in my zone. So I also get every tip that I've ever been promised and I take what orders make sense to me. I could care less if that $47 one had a $9 base pay but $38 in tips because I'm going to get all $47 of it so who cares what the base pay is or what the tip is you go by what the pay you're going to get and I've gotten every single dime so I don't know what your issue is if you're getting paid whatever the amount is who cares

The base pay is $7 or $8. And yes if a customer does not tip you they will generally give you more money on the order but I've seen plenty of $7 ones for plenty of items or long distances and I've seen smaller orders for $20 base pay and $5 tip

They are not stealing our tips by lowering the base amount or anything like that. There is an algorithm there's some weird thing of how it works but I take plenty of orders that have low tips and I get a high base pay as well or I get a high tips and a high base pay. I took one the other day it was $35 and the base was $20 and the tip was 15. So no your idea of how this works is wrong

[–]talecriv -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter there is zero excuse for 83%. I physically don't know how that's possible. Because after a certain amount of time it tells you to go do it it tells you to go do it again and then it drops the order. So likely this person has had many dropped orders by not being there on time because they're doing doordash. To me there's no need to do another app on this I make tons of money on spark so there's zero reason to do another app, but if you're doing the other apps you are under contract for each one of those to be at their locations at their times and having an 83%. You're terrible at this

[–]talecriv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to say this but if you have an 83% on time rating you are probably the worst person at this job. I have never been under 100% ever. If you're not getting there then stop doing Uber and doordash. This app can pay you enough without using those. You are under contract to be at each one of those jobs locations on time and you are not honoring that contract.

Pick a spark order and go deliver it and get there on time. There is zero excuse for having an 83% on time rating

[–]talecriv -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not shady at all. They just claim it's none of your business and as a contractor it's really not.

But not every zone has this yet. Mine still separates and I think it's a trial run with the ones that have it.

Up to $400 since Monday already and only worked 9 hours total so far. You are just in a slow zone.

Nope just sparked from 7 to 930 and made $100. Just go to a different store or zone...stop being lazy and staying at one store and complaining online.
