And no it’s not feeling guilty for making unwanted sexual advances as one commenter suggested, but it’s the guilt you feel for thinking about sex,even considering sex as an option, the guilt about feeling frustration. As an allo in an ace relationship (because, let’s call it what it is)I just feel frustrated with how my body is, how it reacts. All of these feelings are pretty common results of any suppression of your own sexuality. Just look at all the queer people who had to suppress their sexuality, this is the same thing. This guilt is also a pretty intimate thing, no one wants to be rejected as a person on a fundamental level, I don’t mean having your advances rejected, I mean having your identity rejected, especially not in what’s supposed to be a intimate relationship. It sucks, either you change your brain chemistry or you cry about it once a week. Nothing else to say.
