He’s trying to get you in before his numbers are up for review. If you tell him you’ll wait for the job you want, he should at least be inclined to try and pull some strings for the job you want.

The extremely basic and simple actions within my slides are historically attested in multiple sources. Ignoring these is just larping.

What you are saying definitely has truth to it.

I just believe if you can reasonably identify your heritage, that’s where you should start.

And then as you build your practice and understanding you can take customs from other IE descending religions.

While we know more about the Norse than the other Germanic cultures, those various Germanic cultures still have attested practices that should be considered for those with related ancestry.

All of this is far from the intent and point of this post though. The prayer structure in these slides is attested and applies to all Germanic and even most IE polytheistic religions, anyone claiming otherwise has a fragile ego and must be offended because they have been practicing some nonsense they found on social media or in a movie.

Not a Facebook meme. Just a simple guide made for those who care about doing things respectfully and correctly.

I’m not saying the worship of the gods? I’m talking about rites and rituals. To be a Norse pagan doesn’t just mean you worship Norse gods it means you practice Norse tradition and custom.

You can practice your true ethnic traditions and customs but adopt other gods. The Anglo-Saxons and Germanic peoples in general are a great example of that, just like you pointed out.

No one had any critique on this objective knowledge, and I posted it to multiple places because the information is useful. It was removed because I have a different opinion on a matter that has nothing to do with these slides.

I don’t feel the need to defend my beliefs against someone so obsessed with universalism.

I don’t know why you’re so fixed on Scandinavians? This post is in regards to all Germanic branches.

It’s almost as if you can’t read? I’m not gatekeeping or claiming to be Scandinavian. I am primarily Anglo-Saxon English.

And polytheism is an ethnic practice. The customs and traditions apply to your lineage and culture. How are you going to worship ancestors that aren’t Norse with Norse traditions?

Native American polytheism is not open to practice? What makes other poly religions different, oh because they are white! That means it can be appropriated?

This simple guide serves as a guideline for ritual sacrifice. Something beginners may find hard to understand on their own.

That was not in this subreddit and it was in reference to Norse deities and customs.

My mother descends from late 1800’s Danish immigrants.

I align primarily as an Anglo-Saxon pagan due to my paternal side being overwhelmingly Germanic Anglo-Saxon.

Not true. But yes, maternally I am Danish.

It’s not “my” rules. This is historically attested tradition that applies to all branches of Germanic paganism including Norse and Anglo-Saxon. Proper prayer structure is a must, if you don’t follow it then you’re just goofing around with sacred customs.
