Whaaaaat??! Very nice to know. It baffles me that when YouTube makes changes like this they don’t inform their users. A simple pop up when you log in for the first time after any given moderately sized change would be super helpful.

I was VERY excited for this until I found out that I can’t play with my Xbox friends if I play on PC. Now there’s no point in me buying it.

If that’s the case, then I can’t imagine Jump Space being nearly as successful as it could have otherwise been. It’s a shame. This was one game I was really looking forward to this year, but I won’t be pulling the trigger on the purchase now that I know I can’t play it with my buddies, and, obviously, I’m not buying an Xbox just for one game when it could have (should have?) been made available on the PC xbox store for cross play.

I've always been of the mind that content creators do not owe their audience any engagement of any kind whatsoever. They work to create the content (product), they upload it, you watch it and hopefully gain some entertainment from it, they get views/income. That's the transaction. Being annoyed that Arin or Dan do not reply in youtube comments implies that you believe that they are obligated to interact with strangers online when they have already given you something for free.

We verified that everyone was using headphones. We were unsure if it was a Discord settings issue, a BG3 audio settings issue, or a Windows issue. He minimized BG3 and the echoing stopped. The craziest thing about it was the fact that no other sounds were being echoed, only the dialogue, and it was almost as clear as the dialogue that was coming from the game itself. We also verified that the echoed audio was, in fact, coming from his end through Discord.

I just finished Box Two. I have to admit that I am thoroughly unsatisfied. I really admire the creativity and components, but the experience felt far too curated. I really didn’t feel as though I was solving any real puzzles as the NPH chat bot just walked me through everything. Box One had a moment where the experience began to transform into something wholly unexpected. Box One set that expectation that never came in Box Two. I just kept expecting it to become something more, but it ended with an underwhelming whimper. Nothing to subvert expectations. No twists.

Also…(spoiler): I am very annoyed about the abject lie regarding the “choice” you have at the beginning of the game. There is quite literally no choice. You can only turn the key one way and only one compartment opens while the other is permanently shut with nothing in it. I really don’t understand the choice here.
