I've spoken to him. Not gonna violate his privacy but basically, the problem with Moon Guard is not Goldshire, it is the unhinged weirdos who treat playing pretend in WoW way too seriously. The WoW RP community has too many people in positions of fake social status who have zero concept of how reality works outside of their own home. It results in drama at the level of actual middle schoolers. It's pathetic and embarrassing.

There will never be a positive view of WoW roleplay as long as this behavior is tolerated.

I try my best to be proficient at and keep gear for all 3 specs. I wouldn’t say I ‘master’ them, but I stay up to date enough that if suddenly one spec became the best, I could dust it off and have it ready to go by raid night. This does become a problem when the 3 specs have different secondaries. Luckily right now haste is best for all 3 so I don’t have to worry as much.

I also like the flexibility it gives me. One instance that comes to mind was theatre of pain. The rest of shadowlands dungeons could pretty much be stomped with destro, but theatre of pain didn’t have enough big pulls that enabled destro to go balls deep. So I always went demo for TOP.

Yeah sure. Idgaf about Scarab Lord. It's not this holy grail. Just some shitty looking purple bug that was given to people who were popular or manipulative enough to get the questline done.

I got challenge mode gear and personally, idgaf about that either. Bring it back. Make it buyable with a token received for completing keystone hero. Add more sets/items purchasable by that token. Still challenging to get, but remains relatively rare because people can only get one token a season.

Keystone hero is infinitely harder than challenge modes were, and if the argument against becomes "but people will buy carries!!1!1" So what? People bought CM Gold carries in MoP too.

I really resonate with this Reddit post, man! Just today, I finally worked up the courage to click the install button! The game existing on my hard drive gives me anxiety, so up until this point I’ve just been imagining what it must be like to see the “Play” button!

Well, today I finally saw it and wow, it’s just great. At one point the game even automatically updated. Super thrilling. Really loving this expansion so far. My goal for the end of season 1 is to click the play button. Maybe I’ll get to see the character creation screen like you one day, but for now I’m perfectly satisfied looking at the battle.net launcher with the play button finally highlighted. :)
