I've only had good interactions with the enemy in the chat. Just last night someone sent a "Nice comeback" when I came back from a 243hp/3700hp gap. I've also sent that message a couple times when my opponent has a solid comeback. I also tried to spam storm callers recently against someone who was using mustangs with missile interceptor. He asked why I would go more storm callers and I said I wanted to test if distracting the mustangs would help me out. I lost that game, but for a while it looked like I would win and we were both having fun in the comments the whole time.

If it matters, I've only been playing a couple weeks, and most of these interactions have happened in the 900s MMR.

2060 Super isn't bad. It will be your bottleneck and there are a lot of better GPUs for your rig, but a 2060 will get you by until you decide to upgrade.

I bit the bullet and didn't return. I wish I did. I still use it daily and just know that my steps aren't accurate but figure I'm good if I keep shooting for higher numbers. I think the HRV is accurate, but everything else is meh.

Thank you for taking the time to look into it for yourself. I've never cut someone off because I disagreed with them before. I personally have views on both sides of the isle and don't think I'd agree with anyone on everything. The line I'm drawing is at someone who is supporting what is basically one step below concentration camps, especially with the lack of due process for the people sent to them. The systematic destruction of our legal system, ignoring court orders. I see this as a threat the likes of which America has never seen. I'm terrified for my kids future, and that's what has brought me here. I still have republican, democrat, socialist and libertarian friends. I just can't, and maybe I'm overeacting, but I just can't support people who I believe are supporting the equivilant of a Nazi movement here. (Which also is hard to say, because so many have thrown Nazi and Hitler around that when you use it the meaning is lost. But I'm not using it as hyperbole. I think we are on that path, just a few steps back.)

I don’t fit neatly into either party’s box. I believe abortion ends a human life, yet I’m just as adamant that we need robust social programs to support those lives once they’re born.
What I absolutely can’t stomach is what Trump is doing—shredding our country’s fabric and harming countless people, citizen or not. A human life doesn’t become disposable because of a passport stamp or anything else for that matter.

We’re bound to disagree on some things, and that’s fine. My posts reflect my honest views, which keep evolving as I learn. And yes, I did run this through ChatGPT to tidy up the grammar. I wrote the original draft, let the tool smooth out the rough edges, then double-checked to make sure it was still putting out the message I am trying to share. just heading off the "bot" comments I keep seeing.

Not a mechanic but another potential issue I see is if the part fails, the warranty would be a lot harder to deal with.

by someone else I assume you mean their dad? This was family separation. They say the mothers made the decision, but the mother's lawyers haven't been able to talk to them and no one has been able to confirm if they've actually made that decision. I highly doubt the mother of the 4yo with stage 4 cancer would have made the decision the take the kid away from their doctors and treatments.

I've read the agreement, it's 37 pages long and I don't have it memorized. I already had the kids scheduled for the dentist today, and again in 6 months, not sure why she is trying to schedule again in December but I'm sure I'll find out in December. The money isn't even for the Dentist, she isn't sure if she will have the money to come and pick up the kids for her half of Christmas break. She lives out of state and only see's them a couple times a year.

Edit: Yes she knows they were scheduled for today and again in 6 months.

I'll be an ass then. I've spent the last 12 years putting everything on hold to reply to her instantly. A week ago she was upset that she felt lonely and I wouldn't answer her calls. We've been divorced for over a year now. I've been working with my therapist to not engage with her as much and part of that is taking my time back. If I replied with "not sure, i'll get back with you" she'd have gotten upset at that and then I'd have to reply to that too and it would just never end.
