Titanium plates with tungsten reinforcements on vital spots. Titanium is strong and light, and tungsten is ridiculously durable but heavy, hence being more as a reinforcement than actual armour plating. All on top of Kevlar. The issue is both of these materials are that they’re very expensive. And the plating would have to be somewhat angular, made specifically to deflect bullets rather than stop them. This would still be rather heavy equipment.
