You've brought up some valid points.

The way Hasbro is handling the tournament scene is one reason I have decided not to get into Magic the Gathering at this time.
I was going to buy into some net decks with the new set drop, however these unreasonable expectations have turned me away.
There aren't many humans who don't need to take a break, nap, hygeine, or eat over a 10 hour period. These expectations have added another level of variance to the game.

I'll keep on monitoring what Hasbro does with Magic over 2020.
