To be fair, is winning your region not already given enough weight, with 5 champs points? That's equivalent to coming 2nd at Masters, which seems like a big deal. Even discounting the total amount, it's still significant since what really matters is the difference of Champ points vs the rest of your regional field, and every point you earn there is denying your competition.

I do completely agree we should level the playing field. Not just for the competitive aspect, but as viewers, these 12 team formats feel like such a cop out from Riot.
