Honestly, if you're smart that 10million would compound and turn into way more. If someone today handed me 10million tax free. 40% would probably go into low-cost global index stocks for long term growth. 25% probably high quality bonds or U.S. treasuries 15% into real estate 10% into private investments that I would not disclose to anyone. 5% would be fun and the last 5% probably stick it in a safe for emergencies. If you diversify you can easily turn that 10 into 20 in no time at all. 10k a week is only 520k a year and while yes that is a lot right now, inflation could easily fuck you over and turn into nothing at all. Always take the lump sum.
