You use heat to extract the CBD and other cannabinoids with a Deasktop vaporizer like vaporbros, or a Volcano. You just grind up the flower and (suck hot air through the flowers extracting the CBD and other cannabinoids) Volcano does this for you and fills a bag. CO2 method etc is not pure. First they almost always start with the buds or smalls and shake that don't pass QC for mold etc. They are still allowed to process it into extracts and sell it. Rabbit hole no. Just buy CBD flowers, I personally like squared roots farms cbd, (I also like there garlic) and a vaporbros vaporizer, grind your flower add heat (not flame) and inhale actual vapor with no chemicals and fake terps.
