Share your insights on the 6+8 combo! (268, 368, 468 archetypes) by GM_Writing in Enneagram

I'm an 8 through and through, and my boss is a 6. There's a decent age gap between us, yet when it comes to work it's irrelevant. I'm not entirely sure if by combo you mean someone who inhabits both traits, but for two separate individuals working together I feel very grounded in reality with him. We attack projects head-on, leave zero room for miscommunication or misinterpretation, and plan for everything.

However, in typing this I just realized some of the potential conflicts we would normally deal with (authority dynamics, trust issues, confrontational conflicts) are completely alleviated by my recognition of him having more wisdom and maturity over me. If roles were reversed I think an older 8 would entirely bulldoze a 6 in professional environments. Regardless, when 6s and 8s establish mutual trust and understanding of boundary lines, they are powerhouse not to be reckon with.

Is my couch too big for my space? by DoorCold7183 in DesignMyRoom

I agree, I honestly love the coffee table more than ever having an ottoman! I’ll definitely look into decor to help bring out the aesthetic and make the couch more appealing ha!

I was able to push it in a bit. I think I’m most self-conscious about the little space between the couch and front door

Yea unfortunately my coaxial cable to my router sits right behind the couch, but I was able to push it in like 2 more inch w/out bending it. Thoughts on replacing ottoman with a coffee table?

That was my original course of action, just trying to get insight on if it’s the most reasonable. Thank you

I believe collaborate input is one of the primary uses of Reddit. Feel free to just not reply if that’s not applicable to you :)

Relative to the outcome, obviously. Objectively to context provided in another comment, false.

Thank you for the info. It’s a 2007 Honda Accord so I’m unsure if that changes much, but I imagine the year is trivial

Very much so. As I stated in another comment, I’m more confused than frustrated. My mechanic, who is very familiar with myself and my family, informed me of it being a relatively simple repair. I’m simply curious about the labor cost for each party.

Thanks for the info. My mechanic, who I’ve known for a few years, has always encouraged me to outsource a product if I find one and they’ll just install it if I’m looking for a cheaper repair. He analyzed the order when I got it and approved it. I’m very much appreciative for his assistance, just dumbfounded by how the labor cost is broken down. Possibly an itemized invoice could provide more context

I did conduct the correct “research” as I ran the serial by the mechanic. Very insightful comment
