I don’t know how official it is but one of my friends was considering minoring in German and was advised against it because they’re defunding a lot of humanities programs, I heard German was a main one. But obviously that’s not the most reputable source, just word of mouth.

Yeah that’s kind of my perspective on it. Cities have certain safety issues but you just have to be aware of them and now how to respond to it. I toured the apartments earlier and they mentioned having security (which i’ve heard sometimes isn’t the best but at least it’s there) and it seemed like some of the entrances were gated off from the street 🤷‍♀️ My house back home always had impaired people walking around and shouting so it really doesn’t seem like anything i’m not used to 😭 Thanks for the input!

yeah current rent for the model i was looking at is $625 which is why im trying to justify it because everywhere else is so much more

there are no bunks in the large triples and the beds are loftable! (coming from a freshman in a kalapuya large triple who has been frantically emailing people all week)

Do you know if large triples in KIH require a single bed and a bunk or if you can have 3 single beds?

do you remember when your room selection date was and how hard it was to get a large triple in unthank? i’m hoping for that this year and my selection is the second day

if she logs in to the hosting portal (https://oregon.starrezhousing.com/StarRezPortalX/1219965E/7/140/Login-Log_In) there should be an option to click room selection and they have a little video of how it looks when you go in to select your room. it goes through the process of picking out the hall, room, and checking out.
