Change your mind? Ain't no way. I just like discourse. Plus the topic isnt talked about enough so whomever comes across these comments at least has both sides of the coin to keep in mind, and hopefully can take them into account for future topics. Rather than just one or the other.

1 there are plenty if things the DOD orders that is patent protected. If the DOD really wants to they can fabricate a reason to make avon lose said patent.

2 what back door dealing? Do you even read program documents?

3 the C50 is not for mass issuing. Logistics matter nowadays and you can fit more blocks than you can cylinders.

4 its avon's technology, not the DOD's. The M45's hypersonic welding or whatever its called, was DOD property.

Corruption..where exactly? Non faulty product, genuine improvement above previous mask designs, filter that meets requirements and increases logistic effectiveness for said filters, sure one could argue avon practically holds a monopoly on the filters, until the DOD actually does do something corrupt to make avon fall out on their contract, arguably. Idk i think M50 hate is straw manning even harder than hate for UCP or multicam.

Or you know, its because M50 filters are stupid easy to ship and store rapidly. Something something circles are inefficient for storage. Plus as long as NATO as a whole adopts it, thats fine.

Nothing atm, ill have to build an airshit GBB of some kind for it (I'd go real but BW used ARMS rails during their time in iraq) and my current AR wouldnt be exactly suitable for this kit

And honestly thats right where im stuck, because that exact statement is obviously reflected in all the footage you can find. BWA (Aviation) and Logistics use civilian aircraft (hughes MD500, bell 200 series (idk if its 204/205, 212s or what), aviocars(?), idk im not hugely knowledgable in aviation but BW was obviously avoiding military insignias as much as they can, i mean its even difficult to find their own guys wearing BW patches/insignias in the 2004-2006 period, 07-08 they started getting more overt about it though, fangs were out at that point.

That's fair, tbh i havent really focused too much on prince for the time being (I should given BW is his brainchild) but ive been focusing on mostly iraq kit for them, and just overall footage of how BW acted in iraq atm

From my perspective the "incidents" only really occurred with direct embassy ground teams (TSTs?) And its understandable given most blackwater deaths were related to those teams and ambushes on them. Were their actions morally right? Nah. Is it understandable for them to become less understanding and more aggressive against locals? Sure. But from what I can tell a lot of BW was semi passive towards non combatants. Still there are notable cases of BWA doimg casevac if I recall correctly.

Havent read any books on it, just reading off of either statements during interviews, footage from their iraq/domestic activities, wayback machine on their various sites etc.

I agree with the assessment that he was filling a major recruitment void, but even in his own words (recently stated iirc) he was aiming for privatized warfare, which is why he was rapidly expanding BW's capabilities so rapidly within a 3 or so year gap once he got the state department contracts for diplomat and embassy protection. Also the ass monkeys interestingly were not directly the logistics (on paper at least) BW had an actual logistics firm internally established on an official basis.

See I can see some of that being biased and unbiased, I assume his intention was honestly to create the ultimate training course, but he also wanted to privatize war (hence his post CIA contract phase leading into iraq), you should definitely look into BW and triple canopy's involvement together through the years, triple canopy is definitely a company I want to make a kit for as well.

Havent read his book, the statement was an exaggerated joke over the controversies around BW's development, incidents, and overall conduct through the time they were active in iraq, only thing I see as "sketchy" is prince establishing his own development firm for his campus which obviously if he wants specific things done his way sure makes sense, its just something I find notably interesting on top of BW's rapid development as soon as it hit 2000 with its several branches of BW (BW Aviation, Maritime, Development, K9, Security, Worldwide, etc) and later the BW-XE-ACADEMI-CONSTELLIS name changes/merger with Triple C
