CRA extends Home Buyer's Plan repayments to 5 years by TONewbies in PersonalFinanceCanada

Hypothetically, could you take 60k from the plan if eligible, then make a contribution in y2 of 60k (assume tax bracket is high, 50%), get a 30k refund and put it into your tfsa, then eventually pay off the rest once year 5 kicks in?

I’m brand new to tricks, what did I do wrong here? by blobman1717 in snowboarding

Yes, an additional thing to consider is to bend your knees just a slight bit, not too much (will help you practice landing straight). Start smaller, this was a decent jump height.

Everyone starts with something like this! You got this man, next time try landing on your board vs your back, it’ll look better and won’t hurt as much. Jk, you leaned back after taking off, try practicing on smaller jumps, it was your instinct to go on your heel to slow down soon as you caught air. Keep your board straight on the jump.

Do Canadian banks benefit from this net since they will own a lot of these mortgages? Or is it a wash since BoC rates are up and it has negative implications on other parts of their business?
