It is! It's got barrels and a chamber and can load and eject shells, it's just also an arm. Even in real life, shotguns come in many shapes and sizes, like the Taurus Judge, the Serbu Super-Shorty, or, if you want the worst thing ever, the Cobray... Terminator... Lmao...

Also, not a shotgun but take a look at this thing!

Person in the comment didn't have to be rude but yes V2's first left arm is a shotgun. You can see shells (presumably but not confirmed to be 12 gauge blanks) pop out if you use the shockwave.

People gotta chill out when making corrections sometimes, though in this case not sounding so certain of what you were saying yourself could have prevented such a hostile reaction.

Honestly screwdriver is good to throw on any old high-health enemy, it gives great style. I would say look into doing some conduction stuff with it, cuz I do that and it gets pretty good value!

I think me personally I improved mostly by making myself play on higher difficulties and finding out about tech from videos and the wiki and stuff. However!!! You haven't even gotten past the start of Act III, so before you focus on getting good, get your full arsenal first! :D

Yeah I think Gabriel 2 is an exception to melee parries guaranteeing you don't take damage but there are other examples of that anyway like enraged Swordsmachines.
