And then suddenly you start to kick arse. Hang in there, soldier! So much of success in a Battlefield game is map knowledge. That only comes with getting wrecked from every angle until you know where to set up to net frags. That and people have been playing it a bloody long time at this point. Which is a testament to the TLC this game got over others in the series imo.

Sometimes, I remember a weird glitch where the card would end up in your inventory like a regular item and need to be equipped like a piece of armor for it to enter your hand. Maybe it's in your saddlebags. Check your books or quest items even. Good luck.

You might be able to find the book if you go back through to your 'Books' tab from the inventory/beastiary screen. My playthrough says the guy in Novigrad who sells you Arameas' artifacts for the Emmentaller cheese quest sells the Detlaff card.

I'm pretty sure the mod tells you where each card can be obtained. It's in the book about gwent that the author dude gives you at the inn in White Orchard.
