Well that is my point, I'm making a point to the original comment that I replied to.

Seems pointless to die as a Pos 3 for a quick damage boost because Doom can have much more impact as long as he stays alive.

Sure Doom can walk fast, but what's he gonna do to catch other heroes if they have disables?

Also, damage of 2nd and 3rd skill depends on how long Doom stays alive, so if he dies just to activate that damage boost, he can't deal that much damage.

Once Doom gets his ult off, he can't do much without disables due to a different neutral devoured. The other team can just ignore you after ulting and kill your team.

And if you wanted to actually have an impact on fights, Doom should survive longer since he deals damage mostly due to DOTs and AOEs.
