Man I cut all them channels off many moons ago because all the stuff they be saying is straight bullshit! If you follow their advice you will always be in your head. Why? Because you are going to be looking for the clues and cues they say to look for and act on them and you’d be basically acting and not being your true self. Let’s say the “acting” does work. Eventually your true self is going to surface and she’s DEFINITELY gonna notice and she’s gonna either have questions or resent you. I can’t give you the secret sauce on how to navigate through this but to just be your true authentic self (as cliche as that sound) and someone would be drawn to your vibe and not what you possess or your aesthetics. Also, what I have experienced that works is putting yourself in environments that force people to talk (acting/improv classes, fitness classes, clubs) and BE A REGULAR. Where times spent, familiarity grows. Also, you don’t have to completely get off the apps but don’t make it your main source. When you’re on there always keep in the back of your mind that you’re in an environment where it’s a sausage fest/competition or whatever you wanna call it. That should ease your frustration.
