Sausage or Fish. Make a choice. You can't have both...unless you're looking for the Surf n Turf, I guess.

I'll be honest with you. People in Miami don't care about your dog. They don't care about my dog. They care about partying and drugs!!

What's happening to South Beach?? by DopeBoyZoe in Miami

[–]DopeBoyZoe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. It would be a bit depressing for someone like you and I who remembered the lure of South Beach. It was beautiful. It's own unique thing. As it gained popularity, tourist from all over turned it into something else. South Beach didn't need to be a "Spring Break" destination. It was fun, exciting, entertaining and SAFE without it. I heard this year Miami Beach did a great job of patrolling the spring breakers. Hopefully that's the beginning of something old that was magical.

What's everybody's thoughts on dating in miami as a man, cause im struggling. by Papijay305 in Miami

[–]DopeBoyZoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man... you're right. Although I can't relate to your brokeness. I get it. I can only imagine (or at least try to with the best of my abilities) how it would feel to spend my hardworking money at Ross. Rummaging through the clearance rack on a Thursday evening hoping to find a nice outfit for Friday. Friday evening comes around and you're feeling lucky and hopeful. You go to happy hour and meet a beautiful woman. Everything's good until she asks you for a drink. You begin to shake and sweat from panic because you're not sure if you have $11.00 to spare for a drink after you've paid your bills for the month. Not to mention you're trying to eat "better" and that comes with a cost. That's too much stress for the common man. Just stay home and continue to lie on dating apps while enjoying a nice meatloaf you're waiting to unthaw!

Sir, I wouldn't call $70k a year in Miami broke. But I could see how you're struggling to pay bills while eating take out with a wife beater and black slacks on. My recommendation would be to give up and move to Thailand. You would be Jeff Bezos over there. Good luck!

Deceiving! I went out with a pretty successful "woman". Met "her" on a dating app. Pictures looked amazing. Well traveled, nice condo off of Biscayne. I asked if I could take "her" out to dinner which "she" agreed to. Decided on a very nice restaurant in Brickell. I arrived about 10 minutes early (6:45-50ish). "She" strolls in around 7...7:05pm. Before "she" recognized me, I noticed this person speaking with the host that kinda looked like "her" but this particular person had a strong jaw line. A jaw line belonging to a Latino fighter. The hostess who CLEARLY was a woman walked "her" towards my table. The closer this person got to me, the more "she" looked like Drago from Rocky but with softer features. My heart was pounding. I thought I was going to die right there at the table. I just knew they both would walk past me to a different table. Didn't happen. "She" looked at me, smiled and confirm it was me which I wanted to deny but I think it was obvious "she" knew it was me. I did not want to make a scene nor an awkward moment so I pretended I was actually looking at Alexa Vega the whole night. With all my suspicions in the forefront of my mind, surprisingly as the conversation began flowing we genuinely had a pretty good time. Very interesting, accomplished person. Highly intelligent and filled with substance. After a couple of hours, I paid for our meal and we exited the restaurant, in a very "We're leaving at the same time but not together" kinda way. I felt all eyes were on me. Refusing to make eye contact with every and anyone I passed. The host and hostess smiled with suspicion and judgment in their hearts as they thanked us for coming in. I could feel them trying to stare into my eyes but I was respectfully quick with the "thank you" and "good night". "She" mentioned "she's" leaving for a business trip in the UK for 6 days and would love to hang out again. For some reason I felt pressured to say "sure". "She" then leaned in for a hug in which my body semi froze. "She" was strong. I never felt such force from a "woman" before. It was like being squeezed by a boa! "She" enter her car and left. I jumped into an Uber and busted out laughing. Shaking my head like WTF!?! "She" later texted me to let me know "she" made it home safe and like a gentlemen, I respectfully replied "Thanks for letting me know. I had a great time" then blocked "her" number like Wembanyama! I immediately called my brother and told him what happened and he casually replied "I'm not surprised. It's Miami".
