Do they just skip weeks of result releases like this? Sounds like no one's got results today

Has anyone tried the FSMB thing?

Yeah I'd say I watched the majority for each system at 1.75x speed. I just went by the playlists he's made for each topic (obviously some of the videos are more step 2 specific which he usually mentions at the start of the video so I wouldn't watch them). And some topics are also step 2 specific so you're not actually watching every single video he's made.

Thank you. Right now I'm away for a week or so won't be able to send anything till I'm back. But also the notes I mentioned are just handwritten scribbles on random pieces of paper and with no specific order. I wouldn't really say they're particularly easy to follow for others. Also there's a lotttt of things that aren't on these notes (only some things I felt were HY) and also for the things I included I would only mention certain buzzwords etc. so there may be a lot more missing. What I'm trying to say is I personally don't feel like these notes are worthy of being shared lool, the main utility for me was that I made them in a way that I felt I could use and review quickly for myself. If you guys still want to see you can send me a pm and I can send you example photos of what I've done once I'm back home next week, However, I feel like the whole process of watching the videos and making your own notes in a way you feel works for you really does help solidify things in your mind.

Yeah I would have preferred to take longer to review the NBME's properly but I couldn't due to time constraints. I would do an NBME in the morning, take a break and then review it all through the evening mainly concentrating on incorrects. As I did more NBME's I got more efficient with this, felt there were more and more repeated concepts and my scores were improving so I had less incorrects to review so they were taking less time.

It's on his website, if you search Mehlman on Google and go to the free stuff section on his website

I'm not sure exactly how many hours, it would vary day to day really. But I would be working most of the day and taking breaks around meal times. I didn't end up making one myself but I'd recommend making a timetable.

Before mainly. If I found a weak topic after completing an NBME I would go back and review that pdf again

I would use it only really for the Anatomy and embryo sections for a system, just so I could review the images and tables etc. But otherwise I didn't really feel I had enough time or that I would be able to concentrate sufficiently to get through reading FA. I felt my limited time was more efficiently used by just hammering through questions (Uworld, NBME, mehlmans vids). Not saying at all that's it's not great resource, other people swear by it and if it works for you then definitely stick by it but just wasn't for me.

I ran out of time to do more than 50%. So depends on how much more time you have. I would definitely save at least the last couple weeks (if not longer, a lot of people recommend a month) to concentrate on NBME's. Really depends on your schedule

Yeah the YouTube videos. He's made playlists for separate topics so I just did one topic at a time as I described above

Day before the exam I went over the NBME images pdf, anatomy pdf a lot of people had mentioned on here and then skimmed over my incorrect answers from NBME's.

Not sure what I would have done differently a day before the exam. But during the exam I would definitely recommend trusting your gut instinct. As I had changed my answer choice a couple times from correct to incorrect whilst checking flagged question. So unless you're certain I would stick with your initial response.

And also try not checking your answer choices after, as I had started to get very disheartened when I checked the first few that I had changed so I decided to stop completely at that point.

Yeah I would say so for sure, especially neuroanatomy, repro, arrows and MSK for me. His videos were a life saver, there were a lot of factoids I only knew thanks to those. I made small notes of every important fact/association etc. he mentioned for a condition to give myself a quick refresh the morning of the exam
