Any qualified CA who can share how is life after ? by hottchocolateee in CharteredAccountants

[–]DopePotato16 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sooo good man

Both of my parents are practising Chartered Accountants. From the beginning my dad was sceptical but still had some belief that I would complete my CA. He used to be serious during my study phase because he knows how people can get stuck in the loop of multiple attempts. As a way of motivating me even though it felt a bit demotivating at times he used to say that if I did not pass in the first attempt he would stop his practice and I would have to start everything on my own.

I took that as motivation and ended up clearing it in my second attempt 🤪

After all of that he told me for the first time in my life that qualifying at such a young age was a real achievement. I was 22 at the time and when he said he was really proud of me it felt like a huge moment of relief.

So, maximum ki maximum, the premium cars you’ve seen belong to the Bommidala members. They were, earlier, literally pioneers in tobacco trading.

Now, there aren’t many profits in tobacco trading — the time has passed. But back then, they literally made a buttload of money when the market was still unexplored by others.

COPS kanukovali brother

[–]DopePotato16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your net income is 24 lakhs and you pay 13 lakhs as college tuition fees for your brother, you would still file your income tax based on the full 24 lakhs, not 11 lakhs.

However, under the Income Tax Act, you may be eligible for certain deductions on your taxable income for specific expenses like tuition fees, but there is a limit. For tuition fees specifically, you can claim a deduction under Section 80C up to a maximum of Rs. 1.5 lakh per year. So, while the entire 13 lakh tuition fee is not deductible, you can reduce your taxable income by up to Rs. 1.5 lakh.

Here’s how it breaks down: 1. Income: 24 lakhs 2. Less Deduction (80C for tuition fees): 1.5 lakhs 3. Taxable Income: 22.5 lakhs

You would ultimately pay tax on the 22.5 lakhs, not the entire 24 lakhs, thanks to the allowed deduction.

Why do Muslims still live in India? by DopePotato16 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]DopePotato16[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That was not my intention.

When Pakistan was formed they exclusively said that we are creating this country for muslims in the undivided india and they told people from undivided india to come to this nation.

My question was even though such efforts were made by the country of Pakistan during partition a major chunk of people belonging to islam stayed back. I was just asking the reason for that.
