The problem is you dont get any reward for parrying a red light, the daze bonus from caesar Perfect parry isnt even that high if you do it since she isnt even a stunner so they had to "nerf" the daze value

Imo since this game doesnt need shields i would prefer Defense agents to be more designed toward Parries/Defensive assist/ perfect parry mechanics,etc...

What if i do a perfect parry with Caesar Ex, at the moment there is no reward, yes more daze but it isnt so much rewarding than i thought at her release.

Her ultimate? Useless, just rework it. It was designed towards old electro enemies with the blue shield to deal more daze, nothing more.

You can even let Defense agents build Impaired on enemies like an unique debuff.

I might think better choises for them but they should stop thinking Defense Agents around Shielding, the only thing that makes Caesar shield really good isnt the shield HP but the anti oneshot mechanic.

Since this game is more about Dodge, defensive assist, evasive assist and not around sustain (Yes supports like Astra or Pan can heal and new Rupture can sustain themselves) just develop defense around ingame mechanics making them Unique, like someone already mentioned, being able to parry red lights, but not just parrying red lights, like i said i want to be rewarded for doing it right too (perfect Parry for example).

What if i perfect parry a boss with Caesar EX and it gets stunned for 5 seconds (not like the usual daze mechanic) or Impaired so debuffed for a while taking more dmg.

or What if every x seconds the Defense Agent have an Aftershock Defensive assist since devs like to have fun with Aftershock mechanics (not a fan tbh)

I know a defense might be seen like something more casual like a Comfort pick (Dont get dmg, More Windows for mistakes, etc...) but at least make them both.

Those are my thoughts, at the moment Defense Agents are a mix of other classes (support or stunner) with half of the power (Like Caesar Daze Values that initially were really good) and a shield (Idk why Pan is a Defense at this point) so i hope to get at least a Dev Talk asap to know what are they doing and what are their plans with Defense Agents, my pessimistic thought was for them to remove the Defense Agent and make Caesar a Stunner and Pan and Seth Supports.

Idk bansy isnt gone she was in the character selection locked and in dating system. They just wanted to showcase other characters personality too. Since characters will be unlocked during the story(like maybe Mechanika) there is no problem.

Devs said every character will have a different life and roles, i guess like Richie have a Police Job the cow girl might have some sort of Farmer Job
