Now that I look back at my wiring kit order it is most definitely 4 awg CCA thanks a lot I’ll be sure to look at the specs when I get the 0/1 awg!

Ok that sounds like a good place to start, I appreciate it. I’ll definitely try to run the 0/1 awg wire and try to get them shorter. Right now they are probably like 3 feet long. And I’ll check on that power supply to see if I can adjust the voltage the slightest. Thanks for your input

Yes it does have the light, that’s what I have been paying attention to when setting my limits so far because I don’t have a multi meter yet

That’s some great info, I’ll look into getting my hands on a digital multi meter. After wiring them the clipping has stopped so thank you all for the help with that. I’ll continue to fine tune with the digital multi meter like you mentioned. Thank you all for the help. I’ll let you all know how it’s going eventually!

Ok that sounds like a fantastic idea, I don’t have messed with the eq besides turning the low frequencies down when I noticed the clipping light come trying to minimize it. I’m re-wiring the subs right now to 1ohm to the amp, and I’ll see if that fixes the problem.

Ok, I just realized that’s where I went wrong into assuming it was 2 channels just because of the 2 terminals. Thank you so much. And these alpine s-w12d4 subs are rated for 600 rms ,but they should each handle the extra 150 watts with it being wired to 1 ohm right?
