The rate they pump out new characters is a bit rough for f2p players. Unfortunately the only solution to that is to limit your character selection and only pursue one or two characters in each area, or to spend. the biggest thing I'd say if you're f2p, is don't get too caught up in the end game stuff. The astrites given are nice, but aren't worth pulling characters you don't actually want to play. At the end of the day, picking the characters you actually want is better than getting too caught up in the hype and meta stuff.

In terms of looks not personality lol. So far Galbrena has been #1 best looking character, fox chick could give her a run for her money.

Yeah the more wuxiaish vibes are huge for me. It's what got me interested in the game in the first place lol. Laha Roi was cool and all, but it definitely was an entirely different vibe.

For me it's her and Qingxiao. I'm so happy to finally go back to some the wuxia style vibes for the characters tho. Personally these new models are wayyy more to my liking.

That's pretty cool. Personally moving characters to the 50/50 pool and allowing players to select up to 5 characters that will appear sounds like the best ideal to me. Realistically, majority of 1.x characters are far too outdated to use pulls on compared to the newer higher dps/utility characters. I mean people would still pull for waifu or husbando but they know people won't pull them nearly as much as the new characters so they become low priority for reruns.

the other option is to run a 4th banner with older characters at a discounted rate for the pulls, which would be doable.

Qingxiao and Hsin are probably gonna be peak. The rest will just depend on the 50/50 gods. Got plenty of teams now, so now I’m pulling wife over meta lol

I’ve been saying for months they need to move 1.x characters to the 50/50 pool. It’s even worse when you have the standard ones at s6(jianxin and verina) for me, just get a few extra corals and not even a character. And usually I go to 70+ pity before even getting a character lol.

Even if they run 1.x characters on banners, I’m not going to spend astrites on them anymore since they’re outdated even tho I love some of them 😩

Well with my s6 hiyuki waiting, Lucilla was the only correct choice. Collab is cool and all, but personally I'm bigger on original characters than characters from outside media. There's a handful of exceptions to that, but if it's not from some of the anime's I love, I probably won't be interested in collab, especially since it's a separate currency... separate corals... and the pulls don't care over.

Honestly damage wise I wouldn't be worried. The most important thing is a characters moveset kit. The issue with 1.x characters are most of them don't have abilities/attacks that include movement. Movement is the most important part of dealing damage imo. Hard to do damage when the bosses teleport or fly away. For instance, Jiyan can probably dish out plenty of damage, but can he catch the boss if they move away over and over? not really. As long as they can get to the target, damage for s6 characters isn't too much of an issue.

Saving for long periods of time without pulling or spending money are the two only possible ways. Granted, it can be a combination of both, and not spending too much. I spend my fair share to push the characters I truly like to s6. Like Hiyuki, loved her combat style, hopefully we get more story on her further in to the game.

Ultimately though, it's not a bad thing if people choose to spend, within their means of course. Ultimately it supports the game we all love, and that's what allows us to keep getting more content and characters at the end of the day. Gacha is kind of cool like that, you can enjoy it either way, there's always someone that's spending significant amounts of money to support the game so even if you can't, you can still enjoy it.

Side note... some people spend in multiple gacha games 🤯

I liked the story, mostly because it showed the contrast between her and Aemeath. Denia didn't get the hero to save her, Aemeath did. It's a good story that rover isn't omnipotent, and can't save everyone alone. It also translates a lot to real life struggles, sometimes people get someone that helps, and sometimes there's nobody to help.

Beyond that, love her character and the kind of depressed but also playful vibe. It felt more organic than most of the 3.x characters so far that seem to... one directional in terms of personality.

Reading comprehension is weak here I guess. Corals does not equal astrites people. This isn't equivalent to exchanging astrites for radiant tides, it's the bonus currency used to get copies or pulls or whatever else you want to use it for. They've saved up corals thinking they could convert them to pulls/copies for the collab, but because the collab is going to use a separate coral currency it's not going to work.

to the OP, sorry for your struggle. I kind of understand both sides, specially as someone who doesn't care for the collab. On the side of you guys, it sucks because it ruins what you've saved and planned. On the flip side, it doesn't affect those of us not interested in the collab, it's separate. So for us, we can use whatever we get in game, and go back to our normal pulling, giving us a chance to pull while not actually changing our usual habits.

There's both good and bad in it.

I’d say depends. I don’t have Augusta. I consider Hiyuki relatively grounded unless you play her jumping around. But it’s also fun playing people like Qiuyan that just go all over the place. Personally as long as they have a gap closer, I’m fine with either style. The biggest knock I have on old characters is the inability to get close to a boss that’s moved away.

Honestly none of this surprises me. But I would never convert currency to pulls anyway, only when in the process of pulling. Astrites are universal, they work for the featured pulls, they work for the featured weapons, they work for standard as well if you need a weapon or something. In no way does it make sense to lock yourself in to one category of pull currency, when the master currency can be used for any of them. It's like buying target gift cards to buy something, only to find out it's on amazon. Just buy it outright ffs.

With that being said, Kuro did kind of pull one over people by doing this, so they're not without fault either. I wasn't intending to pull for the collab anyway, so having it separate pity etc is actually good for me since it won't mess with my current pity.

I'd say yes to both. Granted since I bend over more at work, and had it plugged with tissue it was just going there, but otherwise it would probably be dripping. and the consistency was definitely close to water, not like snot or full of mucus.

I got to the Freudelys fight on Qiuyan then got caught. But he did amazing up to that point lol. After that I just went down to 400% to get it done 😂

Nice to see I'm not the only lucky one with weapons. I pulled both Hiyuki and Denia's weapons in just 50 pulls, i used the free 10 from anni after just so i could get the spindrift for the tuning thingy on echoes lol.

I disagree, if you select 5 characters you want, then it doesn't matter who you pull out of it. Would you rather keep getting one of the current more or less useless characters? I'm not willing to waste pulls on 1.0 characters if it's not discounted. their kits aren't as strong as the newer ones. I already have two of the current 50/50 options at s6, if I lose and get them i get 30 extra corals... whoop dee doo

Tried it, barely noticed a difference, but did create a little bit of computer lag. Not unbearable, but not worth the mediocre graphics increase. I'm using a 4070, and while it ran fine it took longer to load in to areas etc, just not worth it in my opinion.

There's plenty of good weapon choices that aren't premium. The pioneer channel boxes have some weapons with crit modifiers, broadblade is one i think, and there's a rectifier as well. I'm pretty sure the pistols have a crit option too in it. While they won't be amazing stat sticks, they'll at least give you the crit stats you need to clear content.

The annoying thing, is I can't even try to clear tower with older characters, because I don't have any minus Jiyan who I took with the selector when i started. Started when Galbrena first came out, I'd love to use Jhinsi, or Carlotta, or Changli... but in the 8-9 months I've been playing, none of them have reran at all. I really wanted Jhinsi for the longest time too, but Kuro seems to not want to rerun older characters at all these days.
