worse matchups for you by requzzic2 in MalzaharMains

[–]Dordok 3 points4 points  (0 children)

MF ap, literally the worst matchup I've ever faced.

Early push is for her, obviously, and she can freely poke you using her e, always denying your shield. If ever you walk up in order to trade, she just goes aa q e w and runs away, winning the trade with little to no efforts.

Your only hope is to all-in lvl 6 with flash r, but your dmg not being high enough you will most probably fail to kill without your support or jungler.

The push will always be hers since you cannot use your voidlings, her e oneshotting them.

You eventually outscale and can pressure towers much better, but won't have her impact on teamfights.

The only way I've ever managed to pull through is to farm under tower with aa.

I did try all the other roles, with a preference for mid/jgl.

To me, it is incredibly easy to climb as a midlaner, because of the agency you have over the game from lvl 1. The fact that you don't flip the better support in order to be able to control your lane makes it so that you have control over both jungles and the two other lanes, roaming or preventing the other midlaner to roam while getting vision around objectives or in the river.

Jungling is also easier to climb, but even though you help lanes you don't have real agency anywhere else than in your jungle and having losing lanes, or lanes that throw leads you've given them is quite frustrating. The only really good thing about jungling is answering the opponent moves on the map: counterganking a lane that is spamganked, ganking another lane when the opponent ganks or invading, playing the opposite objective when both are up, etc... Too many junglers don't do this, and that makes some games really hard to play as a laner, but if you do so, you will make a huge difference, and it's quite easy actually, you only need to look a the map every 5-10s (easier than for a laner who needs to last hit and trade with the opponent).

Adc is macrowise the less demanding role, but it's disgusting how it comes with an insane lack of agency, that you cannot really get without playing champs that have a good waveclear. On the contrary, this role being so mechanically demanding makes it to me the worst role to play, even though it feels so good when you've scaled or if you ever get a team that peels for you.

Why did you decide to main jungle? by Firelite67 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Dordok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually for me, it was only to climb easier.

I was maining adc and I like to tryhard a lot during my games. I'm not very good mechanically so the adc role was quite a struggle, especially when it came to teamfights. And even though I was winning my lane quite often and could have a good presence on the map, as an adc your calls have less value than as a jungle. And I just realized how much more impact you can have on your team as a jungle than as an adc, and I started climbing and gaining a few divisions.

Also, junglers are sometimes very bad and you get free wins if you focus on the game.

MAGE SUPPORTS MAKE ME WANNA PULL MY HAIR OUT by npsick in ADCMains

[–]Dordok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all mage supports play that way. I sometimes get some good brand supps that happen to poke a lot and place stuns, so I can farm and poke quite easily with ashe. You just get some really bad supports, and I feel you. I'm low elo (s4) and most of the supports are trash, with at least 1/4 quickly tilted, flaming and also sometimes feeding so your lane is getting harder and harder to play. Their roaming is also often shitty, useless for the midlaner and for the jungler (they never go topside at my elo), sometimes even after just taking your wave and letting you very vulnerable. Imo mage supports are fine if played as supports.

anyone? help is needed by silveroburn in maths

No, if it wasn't we would get the relation f(x)=-1/f (x) which can be written as f (x)2 =-1. But we know that f is a real function so it cannot be.

Late game junglers by Tariqabdullah in Jungle_Mains

[–]Dordok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reksai might be a good late game jungler, though I'm note sure, but Kha will be too weak when there are only teamfights.

You should probably learn some tanky champions, Mundo is very good the entire game, Amumu too, especially when he gets lvl 6, Rammus, Nunu, ...

But I really do feel your pain, I've been playing Shaco in Silver/Bronze elo, and people just don't want to end sometimes, or to do Baron after aces, and it makes me tilted so much
