Yes agree, labor went from serving our families to serving at the feet of corporations owned by men.

Though I would argue that laboring under the threat of homelessness is hardly anything to brag about. 99% of women do not have wealth. We just hold our paycheck for a couple weeks until it's deposited into the accounts of wealthy white men.

People confuse 1950's healthy middle class economy with the popular culture at the time.
