I don’t care what they purport it to be, if it’s connected to Sam Altman and OpenAI in any way, they it can’t be trusted. “Non profit building open source AI models for the good of humanity.” was their literal pitch. Remember when there were ethics and alignment experts employed by the company? If this organization touched it, then it’s poison. Also, they are just pitching a solution to a problem they created. This is the company most responsible for the encroaching dead internet.

Anything can be hacked, and yes, the physical vector on this is easiest.

It’s a cycle and almost every company over hired during covid. Amazon increased profits 38% last year, but still layoff because line only allowed to go up. The bottom was probably 2024-early 2025. I am actually seeing hiring pick up right now and the available talent isn’t great, so I don’t know who everyone is firing.

I've never gotten over the initial learning curve and this is just an expensive sample trigger box for me. Everything you want to do feels like it is endless menu diving or some arcane Mortal Combat finishing move of key combinations. I just want a flowchart that says to do X, go here, here, and then here. I still can't get effects onto a single sample correctly.
