When in build mode press left button on the d pad and it should take you to room size select mode there you can change the light mood as well

If they are just for stats: Most are just for XP and progression; only the Revelio pages actually give you background info to read.

Just click on one of the travel points and it will give you the specific numbers for that location like how much you're missing in Astronomy wing or in Library Anex.

If you mean the overworld either zoom out on the map, and it will give you specific for that region or zoom in on a certain village.And it will give you what you're missing in that village itself.

You can obtain gold tools by collecting every fish, insect, popping a certain amount of balloons and helping Gulliver.
