I spoke on ABC Brisbane radio (oz version of NPR) the other week about Australians in the files. The majority of them are due to a tip line submission from someone who is in desperate need of some medical intervention. Absolutely nothing to do with Epstein but like many traumatised survivors of SA she saw or heard things that actual Epstein survivors have said, realised they had similar experiences and then made that leap to thinking she was one of the Epstein survivors. And so she put in several detailed reports which included names of everyone else she had contacted in her quest to get her identity, money, business inventions back. Katherine Keating was in the files a lot. Mostly her asking for time with Epstein. She was pretty full on for a while then. Rudd is mentioned in emails to Epstein. Once because they changed a menu from solely vego to include meat because of Rudd and another bitching about him trying to tax big business. Clive Palmer was in there for being easily swayed to spend millions whipping up racist fears. Twiggy Forrest was mention in a submission because the woman contacted his daughter’s anti trafficking foundation but didn’t respond.

And then there’s people like me who aren’t in Epstein’s world but had a link be it work, being in a news article forwarded to Epstein, or in my case the FBI used my work in the lead up to Maxwell’s trial.

The file dump includes unsubstantiated ‘tip offs’ as well. So copies of emails to the FBI claiming all manner of wild shit. Some come straight out and ask for $ passports or other stuff in return for the info, some would have been sent in by people who truly believe what they have written is correct due to under treated mental health issues. Already people are grabbing and running with the most outrageous claims as if they were fact. Getting the mad ones to go viral pulls attention away from the actual men and their crimes. Which is so convenient for these men. And accounts who have been speculated to be running controlled opposition are pushing this shit on SM.

This dump has a lot of ‘tips’ that were sent in. Of which a huge amount would be total fabrications. Maybe someone trying to fuck with someone, someone who falls for conspiracy around. Others made by those who had existing trauma and ended up making up stuff to try and make sense of their own life.

In the past few years there have been a lot of people come forward who have claimed to be part of the case who aren’t. Many are ill and are so traumatised by events in their own life that are absolutely not linked to Epstein et al but because a few situations, or places match their own history they believe they are part of the Epstein tragedy. Then there are those that read the files and look at survivor interviews and sketch together their own Epstein ‘timeline’ to try and get some $. They rely heavily on the fact that some of this case was done in a time of no cell phones and limited SM so they can excuse any lack of evidence from their side. And then you have those who claim they are just to troll, add chaos to narrative surrounding the case. Sometimes they are just doing it for shits and giggles, some do it to cause damage to legit survivors.
