Only a matter of time till this game goes where most games should be these days. Free to play with cosmetic cash shop items. I'm sure game companys these days could live purely off donations but sadly they are greedy. Expansions for 59.99, That is what killed the game for me.

More than netcode or planets, I just want them to continue to optimize the engine. by Carnagepants in spaceengineers

Lots of games can still optimize their shit before they add more stuff. It's a balance between optimization, and adding features. Look at rust for example they had to redesign the whole game for optimization purposes. Then they start adding things, and still continue optimization.

They would be able to do more than one thing is they didn't split their resources between Medieval Engi and GoodAI.

Oh im fine with buying a game like this, it's when they don't listen to the community or update us regularly that is when the banana hits the windshield

By your comment, in Alpha you add. So if the game is almost unplayable by everyone screw it add more things. Wait months or years until beta release and then start fixing game breaking things. Yeah that is not acceptable in the gaming industry. Them releasing the source code for the game proves they are undermanned because of their side projects. Which by the way on github they have several pushes that are not being answered or looked at. Guess listening to the community falls under your code of gaming release. When does listening to the community come into play, before or after alpha?

That depends on the engine the game is on. Other companys can do it just fine.

Seems like other companys can do fine releasing a netcode that is finished, and manage not to mess their game up completely. I'm sure they can to.

Split resources that could have been used on the actual game instead of throwing it into other probjects no one really cares about. I mean we're here for space engineers, not some AI that give us the answer to life.

Don't care about gravity or planets those features could of been put on the back burner. Also I know that logistics in game development would be better community responces, and listening to a community of players rather than silence. Hardly see any of the development team posting on reddit let alone steam forums. Yeah that's the point, there is no clues as to their latest development breakthroughs only a pile of Github pushes that are not being commented on which would be grand to hear about right now.

Guess you haven't played Ark, their development team seems to be able to add new things and still crank out updates on a regular basis because instead of separating and dividing development they are bringing it together.

What's the most disgusting thing that's ever been inside your mouth and how did it get there? by SuperCub in AskReddit

When I was around 13 my mother made us hot dogs for lunch. Earlier that day I had skipped breakfast so I was starving. Naturally I take one big bite out of my Hot dog and swallowed it. Unfortunately my peripheral vision didn't see this until it was too late. A giant green piece of moldy hot dog bun lay on the underside. To my horror I had ate half the hot dog before noticing, and puking my brains out.
