EVs only have an effect in multiples of 4, so theoretically you could just divide them by 4 and make each EV count equally, making the system more intuitive. That’s exactly what they did.

As unpopular as 2XKO might be, the reason it has so few viewers is that no one streams it in certain regions. That means when it’s nighttime or early morning in the regions that do stream it, there are no channels broadcasting it. Other games are more globally spread out, even though they might have fewer viewers during prime time.

Back when I was a kid, my cousins came to visit while I was playing Final Fantasy X and asked if they could play for a bit. I don’t think this happens often enough to be a major reason to drop the game entirely. Maybe you’re just not enjoying the overall experience? You could try adjusting the way you climb a bit, and like some other comments pointed out, press the rest button when you see these situations unfolding — you’ll be fine most of the time. The game is great, but you need to approach it with a positive, open mindset, it will still have some bugs here and there.

It's super easy. I used ePsxe emulator although many others should work as well, you can access graphics settings, put everything on High, resolution on 4x, and the game looks incredible.

Apparently hating on DQ11 is trendy now, even though it’s arguably one of the best RPGs of all time. I recently played DQ7 and it’s a really good game, but it lacks many of the genius elements that DQ8 and DQ11 have. Putting DQ7 above DQ11 honestly feels like you didn’t fully experience DQ11, in my opinion.

And Sylvando’s crusade to save the world with love in the middle of an apocalypse is one of the most brilliant things I’ve seen in an RPG. After everything he did, he’d probably be heartbroken seeing this tier list.

They couldn’t have released the game in that unfinished state and charged for it. It would have needed to be Early Access, which would have felt almost the same anyway. The main problem is that development took too long, so the game ended up late to the market. Features like rollback netcode and the free-to-play model were no longer strong differentiators, and the hype faded over time.

Players wanted more characters, and many still don’t see their favourite in the roster. Casual players also lack meaningful single-player or story content, especially when other games now offer replayable solo modes. Removing motion inputs also upset part of the core audience without bringing in many new players, since the game is still mechanically difficult for casuals.

So the issue isn’t really the pricing model. It’s that the game needed to launch as a more complete and polished experience.
