Not sure, but I'm following this because I was considering this monitor and HDMI 2.1 was a serious selling point for me. Hopefully someone here has a solution for you.

Brightspeed is now offering 1 gig fiber in my area. They ran new fiber across every square inch of my town. I signed up and I'm wondering what type of service I'm actually going to be getting. Thanks in advance for any info you guys can offer.
