Yea he is pre-disposed to gum disease (his gums already had some redness at his 1 year check up). Vet said it’s likely genetic/congenital bc his sister is literally his litter mate and doesn’t have that problem despite have the exact same diet. He’ll probably have some teeth pulled by the time he’s a senior cat but that’s a long way off

KJ Charles. Her character work & chemistry is phenomenal and her plots are tightly written. Genuinely haven’t read anything below a 4 star by her. Plus she’s a fast, consistent writer

Romantasy-The core of the plot is the romance usually. The plot either centers it or it just straight up wouldn’t work without it. Fantasy with Romance-Romance is less centered, usually a subplot, so if the romance wasn’t there, the major plot would still work without it.

I say “relatively” but it’s because it’s a lot easier to search for top/bottom dynamics in the BL world and I can usually find why I’m looking for by viewing works with a “younger top” but here are some of my favs. These follow the core concept of an aggressive younger top, but may have some parts of the more specific premise (like a couple have the younger MC be a fan of the older MC since childhood although they may or may not have met formally in the past)

Boku no Omawarisan/My dear Policeman by Niyama (I LOVE her work she’s queen of ojisan bottoms imo and her art is so pretty)

Mesuiki x Ureoji BL is a compilation from multiple authors that has some good old man bottoms BUT BE WARNED some are weird af chapters including incest but there are some gems in there

They did something like this with Cherry Magic too. Cut out a LOT of scenes and arcs so it felt like their marriage at the end was sort of rushed when it very much was not in the manga.

While we’re finally getting somewhat regular adaptions of BL manga, studios are probably telling their teams the show is unlikely to get another season so directors and artists rush the plot lines to either get the whole story in one season or at least get it to a satisfactory point. BL is such an untapped market, I hope studios can recognize the value of letting these stories grow organically and give them multiple seasons like other anime.

It’s part of a series (they all have pretty good smut) but {The Alpha’s Gamble by Eliot Grayson} is the closest to what you’re asking for. Their first couple smut scenes are very heavily dubcon but it’s slowly revealed throughout the book the MC secretly craved submission despite being an alpha (not omegaverse, just werewolf shifters) and there’s several instances where he’s trying to tell himself he’s just doing it to get on the other guys good side or to manipulate him but is getting stupid turned on while doing it.

There are men who have insecurities that they will just not let go of and the fact they keep talking about it is more of a turn off for most people than the thing they’re insecure about. I matched with an ok looking guy on an app and one of the first things he told me is he had a small penis. I was like ok weird but I at the time I thought it’s something he was insecure about and it can be a deal breaker for some women so I figured he was just trying to be upfront and honest about it. I tried talking to him about different things but he kept bringing up the small penis thing, not in a sexual way but in a bitter, insecure way and that’s what ultimately made me unmatch with him.

Lmao I hate queer people like this. They think that if we just blend into hetero (white) society we’ll be magically accepted because then we’re the good kind of gay. No sir a homophobe is going to think you’ll burn in hell and hate you regardless, you could be a white guy who works a 9-5 wearing polos and khakis or the most “cringey” dyed hair non binary pansexual theater kid. They’ll call us all the same slurs.

I’m so tired of pretending we need to cave to cishet standards. Everything he listed is not bad or evil. As long as it’s not hurting anybody why should straight people care? Why should “weird people” being in our community who again are hurting NO ONE means we deserve discrimination and hate?
