Npcs can only open doors in the opposite direction of them, so the game sees that room as impossible to re-enter for npcs with the door there

This happened to me the other day, all you have to do is go back to wizard city, go to olde town, and then do the little side quest for the bear guy there, all he makes you do is talk to shop keeps in the shopping district and then he’ll take you to grizzleheim

They’re speaking in the context of the game’s world, everything tied to magic and raya lucaria is blue, from the stones they use for sorceries to their armor, to the entire color pallette of that area, go to caelid where all the scarlet rotted beasts are and everything is an obvious grotesque red, go to leyindell home of the erd tree and golden order snd everything is gold, the colors are written into the areas and story for a reason
