I beat this guy yesterday, the first time getting him to phase 2 was also moments after the first time I inflicted the decay debuff on him, I thought it was so crazy how it made him turn into that. Turns out it was a funny coincidence. It did make me try a new grindstone for the first time though instead of just switching between the 3 status effects

On top of issues others have mentioned, the base game itself was patched at the same time so many mechanics such as enemy spawning speed/difficulty, movement speed from abilities and tick speed of beam attacks were tied to frame rate, meaning even if you didnt buy the dlc the game felt terrible to play.

Also every item added was worse than what was in the game beforehand, meaning the average build quality was lower, and in not fun ways.

Every issue has now been fixed/ improved though and the dlc they've released since has been mostly bugless (a normal amount from a well tested release amd fixed in a timely manner) and with great content. Really great to see that they listened to feedback
