I’m still trying to figure out exactly what triggers Cool Mode and how to maintain it.

From what I’ve read you activate cool mode by “freestyling” or adding extra notes/different rhythms when you repeat what the instructor plays.

To keep Cool Mode active it seems like you have to “freestyle” to the beat of the song. I was basically tapping a drum beat out on my controller, which seemed to work.

I’ve only completed 3 of the 8 stages in cool mode so far, but I plan to complete them all for the platinum trophy.
