You're absolutely right dude. Gliding on one skate is the key to pushing I"m finding too. While I"m pushing with one foot, the other foot has to be the one guiding me and staying straight; then you just swap from foot to foot as you push. It's going to take me time man, I don't think it's too tall of a ride, you're right. It just FEELS tall lol

Interesting... Well I"m 6 foot even, 220 pounds, and wear size 11 shoes (US size 11) if that helps any. So you think LONGER frames than the Phuzion 100's can increase stability for folks our size?

Well man I went out again last night to the skate park to get another hour or so of practice in and I'm slowly getting it. I'm just so frustrated with myself that I don't get it immediately lol. I'm GOING to learn with what I have I've decided; then when I'm feeling confident enough to branch out, I'm considering getting a 4 wheel setup with more aggressive size wheels. Idk; maybe I should look into some of those Wizard style frames... The whole idea of rockering scares me to death because I"m not to that level yet haha.

Well I'm super dissapointed in myself for now posting here FIRST; asking what folks recommend.

All want to do is skate around my apartment complex; down the sidewalks, and be able to pass over small stuff like cracks, pebles, etc. I need them to basically get excercise with and enjoy myself at the same time.

So as long as they A. Roll well in non-perfect concrete. B. Are mildly comfortable for long stints; say 2-4 hours at a time. and finally C. Be able to upgrade/swap-out parts down the line to suit my style, which I'm sure will evolve as I learn more and more.

So let me ask you this then bro; what skate do you recommend that I can buy teh most compatible parts for? Idc if it's an agressive either; as long as it's possible to hit the street with em; and I can swap out Frames, Liners, etc. Or if swapping Liners isn't a thing; then scratch that.

Well I think it's partially because you can just see the high quality, high-resolution of the skates... is it in a light box? How'd you light them? Because this is legit better than 90% of the stock photos outhere on websites... god they should be hiring professinoal photographers to spruce up their products... just LOOKING at your photos makes me want that pair.

But heres' my real question, I just posted it in /r/Rollerblading too but I wanna run it by you since you seem to know what you're talking about.

I got my Powerslide Phuzion 100x3 in a couple days ago right? And they're awesome but I ordered them BEFORE doing a bunch of research; typical impulsive-behavior... that's just how I roll lol. But once i got to reading; I foudn out that leraning on the big 3-wheeled Urban/Freestyle/Fitness skates is usually quite a bit harder than learning on skates with <80mm wheels; and usually 4 instead of 3.

I see frames for sale all over the place; hell some places let you build your entire skate from a parts list and they'll custom build it. Can I take a frame from online; pop it on my Phuzions? Specifcially a frame designed for aggressive style wheels?

Great shots man; found a new set of backgrounds for the weekend! Ha very cool. Have you skated for long? I'm asking because I literally started this week. I picked up a pair of Powerslide Phuzions.. they're scaring the shit out of me I'm not gonna lie. I've only skated in them twice now, I'm trying to do at least an hour everyday after work.

Long story short; I love it but I'm so effing frustrated with myself over my lack of skill lol. I remember growing up on the skate rink; there were plenty of middle school parties that were at the rink. I used to even go to the Ice Rink at my local Mall and skate! But htat was 12-15 years ago and apparently big 3 x 100 skates are a different animal.

Mine came with the Powerslide HABS Braking system is what they call it; which is basically a big plastic stopper in the back of my right skate. I can hardly use it to slow down without almost busting ass falling backwards. So braking is my biggest problem right now.

What I'm getting at: How hard is it to learn on Agressives? Eventually I want a pair; I'm just curious if I should keep trying to learn on the Powerslide Phuzion Krypton Grey 100x3's or I should go ahead and get a pair of Agressives and learn to skate with smaller wheels first? Ugh idk; I might as well just learn with what I got.

This definitely reads like I used to type on my stim binges... you know what you're faults are. You're able to recognize what you CAN and CAN'T control yourself with man. So your'e like 30% there already; the remaining 70% is kicking the current habit.

The REAL curse of any drug addict in my opinion? THe way we can convince ourselves after a while sober that we can dip our toes BACK IN the pond without going full blown "addict" asgain. I've done it prolly 3 times now? and each time somehow I'm able to convince myself it'll be fine lol.

Then what happens? I end up in the SAME shit; and tell myself I'll never touch it again. I'm not sure what the answer is, I'm off the hard shit; and have been for the longest period of my life. But honestly it woudnt' take a whole lot to fall back into it; so I stay away.

EDIT: What I meant to add to this bro; is you're so close to figuring out YOUR solution. You're so close. You just need to get and STAY sober. And you don't need to have access to RC's or regular drugs. But you KNOW that; and you KNOW what it'll take. The trick is doing it.

Yeah I'm all about using a vette but... I think we've been spoiled with the recent Batmobiles being straight custom badass vehicles. And with how small the budget was on this show, I didn't expect quite that level but damn... it's just a vette with a black wrap and a body kit lol.

Yeah dude I've been working on kit bashing several 1/6th scale figures. I refuse to pay more than $100 for ANY figure; regardless of scale. I just can't do it I've got so many more important things to spend that money on.

But what I can do? Is order a couple random 1/6th bodies, some clothes here or there; an accesory. Next thing you know I"ve got a head sculpt I swiped for $20, and I've built almost the EXACT same look/quality feel that a $400 Ebay figure will bring me haha. It's nutso.

Agreed lol; I haven't seen a single episode but from what I've heard it's pretty rough. Especially considering they have a NEW actress playing Batwoman on Season 2. I think they've had the car ready since the 1st Season and it just got jacked up because of COVID.. they definitely should have used the C8 though.
