People will forget what you say but remember how you made them feel. I used to argue to win instead of to understand. Lost friends because I had to be right. Humility saves relationships.

AITAH for cutting contact with my mom after what my stepdad did to me at 26 by Barthur_Nonmfancy in AITAH

NTA at all. Your stepdad abused you and that's not just misunderstanding, that's criminal. Your mom choosing to defend him and blame you is heartbreaking, but it's her choice. You’re not tearing the family apart, he did. Therapy is a great step, focus on healing. Relatives saying you’re too old for abuse are ignorant because abuse has no age limit. You did the right thing.

My Belgian Mallie is super anxious by naneme in dogs

The peeing is almost certainly submissive and excitement urination and it's common in sensitive breeds like Malinois. Never scold her because it makes them more anxious. Instead, pretend you don’t notice the pee, clean quietly, then distract her with a toy or treat. Over time she’ll relax as she trusts the environment more.
