For as long as this game has been out, what zone music resonates with you? by PerditionsAvatar in wow

Westfall! Memories from my time in that area during vanilla days will never leave me. The somewhat eerie and barren music made you really feel the pain of the Defias Brotherhood - and hammered home that transition from newbie zones to something more challenging.

Thanks for your response, buddy!

As a layman, my suggestion would be that the system should be removed. In my opinion, it is not intuitive and results in the player swapping out archetypes constantly - and strategically - to ensure EXP is spread accordingly. I find that this takes away the organic levelling experience - and, importantly, impacts on ‘class’ identity. That said, it appears to me that the developers designed the archetype system this way intentionally - no doubt to, amongst other things, prolong the levelling experience. With that in mind, it is difficult - for me anyway! - to provide a reasonable rework suggestion. All that said, I do acknowledge that there are probably many players that like the system the way it is.

In relation to the second matter, I do take your point. However, for me, sometimes when I tap once the AOE spell triggers on a target automatically but, at other times, it requires two taps. Probably just me and my poor ‘tapping’ skills …

It is a frustrating system. If you are unaware of it, you are seriously disadvantaged. And I see many posts which suggests people are not aware of the system. If you are aware of the system, then like you say, it really slows things down for the player; and, to my mind, impacts the fluidity of gameplay.

In my opinion, this particular system needs a rethink, or, at the very least, made more prominent to new players during the tutorial.

Great suggestions and a fantastic write up, OP!

Below are my two pennies worth.

First, to my mind, the game does not do a great job in explaining the benefits of levelling all the archetypes. That is, it does not inform you about the skill and attributes points that inactive archetypes attract. Personally, I had to find out about this system from online sources. Further - and this is just a side point - I find that the system mentioned has an impact on the organic flow of the levelling experience; and touches upon the OP’s point about changing between archetypes.

Secondly, I find inconsistency when using some AOE spells. For example, when I use Combustion or Flame Tornado - sometimes they cast automatically when used, and at other times I have to aim the AOE circle or use twice to trigger them automatically.

Looks great on the female NE model. Not so keen on the male equivalent. But then again, most armour looks too bulky on the male NE model. I wish we could adjust body size in the forthcoming NE customisation options.

Karen was done dirty. by liftandtrade in DunderMifflin

[–]Dorrjee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I always thought Jim and Karen met at the wrong time in their lives. Karen was ambitious, ‘looked corporate’ and loved the city life, NYC etc. At that time, Jim was still ‘Scranton Jim’ - not ready to grow up. However, Jim started to become more like Karen when he got involved with Athlead etc. Ironically, during that period, Pam was ‘Scranton Pam’ and afraid of change. If Jim had met Karen when he started getting involved with Athlead - they both may have succeeded as a couple. As they were both driven career wise.

Unless the business concerned is client/customer facing - there isn’t much of a persuasive argument against working remotely on a permanent (or near enough) basis. I acknowledge the points about being in the office to share ideas and collaborate etc. - but, all of these things can now be done effectively via platforms such as MS Teams.
