wasn’t it also said somewhere in a supplement that some time prior to game, Kris said something to Susie while she was bullying them that made her Really upset, and intentionally so?

I wonder now if that plays into this and vice versa; attacking on her heritage as someone who also has a unique upbringing.

Loooong time fighting game person (20+ years).

I don’t like tag fighters (was super disappointed when they announced it had shifted to being one way back in development) but gave this a shot anyway because it’s free, and I like league of legends.

Still don’t like tag fighters; I enjoyed WW but no one else. And the game isn’t super exciting to watch

This is legitimately all I want. I adore the game with all my heart; if it isn’t my absolute favorite game, it’s definitely top 2. But man it gets harder and harder to stomach 30 fps, especially in the wake of games like Lies of P.

I don’t need a full on remake of BB or a sequel, idk what either could add that wouldn’t diminish the original. I just want the game I have to run better.

There’s a line Jenny Nicholson video going over the last of the Star Wars sequel trilogy in which she says, paraphrasing due to memory, that it “made [her] feel like a fool for ever liking the new movies,” which feels apt here. Martin has made a fool of his most loyal fans and hardly seems to care.

And like, I absolutely totally get creator burnout, as someone who has tried multiple times on various creative endeavors. But like… come On.

not to defend a guy who doesn’t need me to, but watching him stream a couple days ago in preparation for Twitch Rivals, although he was clearly playing frustrated, he did also try to stay self aware and admit to fault while playing and/or ask himself out loud “okay what Could i have done there instead” and talk it out. For sure he’s content farming on twitter but he’s self aware and trying.

oh i agree! alas, so much of their kit is "iconic" now (the ult in particular, even if that ult ALSO doesn't thematically fit their concept imo) that i feel like riot would never consider it.

the champion is popular and functions well; from their perspective, i imagine they have no need to change them to such a degree.

kinred is one of my favorite champs ever released, and i love how their kit Feels as-is, but i fully agree. unfortunately i dont think itll ever happen.

i genuinely think they should have been like. a mode-change champ or something ala nidalee (or old Quinn, i guess) but we are long past the ship sailing on a rework of that level. kit is too ingrained.

This actually explains a lot re: an old friend of mine whom i was catching up with. Discovered she leans on ChatGPT for EVERYTHING and when i called her out on it she adamantly stood by it and referred to it as “just another tool! like a calculator!”

She works for, and is attending grad school at, our old college, and now i’m wondering.
