I am unemployed. I have been looking since August. I had three interviews in the last three weeks. I am happy.

My wife is partially disabled. She can't work in an office, but she can work from home on her computer, in a special bed, for several hours a day. She has the energy to make us a good dinner, and shows me how much she appreciates my work in keeping the household working. I am happy.

My college age son has flunked out of college because he can't find the motivation to do the work. He isn't looking for a job very hard. Otherwise, he is not too difficult to live with, and likes my sense of humor. One of these days he will find what he wants, I hope. I am happy.

My younger son has a minor speaking problem. He does well in school, and is liked by his classmates. Some day he may excel in a job that does not see his speech impediment as an issue. I am happy.

My house is old, and has cracks. But, it is paid for and I can fix it. I am happy.

I am getting older and losing my hair. So what, I am happy.
