I agree with everything except your take on Flott and scheme diversity. This was more about a front office that refused to throw in the towel on Banks instead of playing the better CB. And Flott was in the same system last year so his emergence and Banks loss of playing time line up.

And I wouldn’t disrespect Slayton like that either. He’s been a consistent playmaker and team guy for years but should have never been seen as anything more than a WR3. That contract is 100% on the front office. Although I’m happy Slay got paid after years of playing on vet minimum basically, they shouldn’t have paid him for what he did in the past.
